Todd Brunson has enjoyed a couple of decent levels thus far this afternoon, adding chips throughout the first four hours of play. And he's putting those chips to use.
We just came upon an instance of such in which Brunson, sitting under the gun, and an opponent in middle position were vying for a pot preflop. About 15,000 sat in the middle, with 10,000 sitting in front of Brunson, suggesting he'd either limp-reraised or four-bet his opponent. Having but 17,000 or so behind, his opponent tanked for a couple of minutes before conceding the pot to Brunson.
Brunson is sitting on about 57,000 -- almost twice the starting stack -- as we near the end of Level 2.
